Angela Yoder received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in professional counseling both from Liberty University. She has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since May 2019. Previously she spent 7 years as a liaison counselor within the Mifflin County School District Student Assistance Program counseling students from 6-12 grades. Angela has special interest in Christian counseling, helping people manage anxiety/stress, depression, self-esteem issues, anger management, couples counseling, post-partum depression, and relational issues. Ages for treatment are five years and older. Families are included in treatment whenever possible. She uses cognitive behavioral therapy to help her clients identify negative and irrational thought patterns to create healthier ways of thinking. Goals of treatment are to help clients increase self-awareness to produce healthier thought patterns, along with developing positive coping skills. She takes a holistic approach to treatment by balancing physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.
